Departure and Beginnings

Mon Sep 22, 2003, 4:24 PM
I have departed my hometown for Seattle. Unlike my fellow evacuees from Senior year High School, I have decided not to go to college yet.

I know that I ought to go to college. Unfortunately, I know it in my head and not in my hands. I fear that if I went to college, I would not study with enough devotion, I would not work as resolutely on my homework as I ought to. I fear that it might be a waste of several thousand dollars.

I have chosen not go to go college yet, with the concept that I will not go to college until I am absolutely convinced that I absolutely must go to college.

So; instead I sit here. I have been attempted, and failing, to attain meaningful employment. Oddly, I haven't followed the better practices for seeking employment that I have learned (namely, bulk and simultaneity). I have a couple of cool books, a nearby park, and a few math textbooks that I picked up for free (!!) at a Used Bookstore.

It ought to be fun.

Have you ever had a dream, that you were so sure was real? What if you were unable to wake from that dream? How would you know the difference between the dream world and the real world?

What you know you can't explain, but you feel it. You've felt it your entire deviant life, that there's something wrong with the story. You don't know what it is, but it's there, like a splinter in your mind, driving you mad.

You take the blue pill, the story ends. Your browser closes and you believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill, you stay in wonderland. And, I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes.

I offer only the truth, nothing more.

Take: The Red Pill
Take: The Blue Pill

Fella Point Right spyed, nobody has ever done this before.
Ninja Point Right I know. That's why it's going to work.

Do not try and bend the spoon ...

tag, you're it!
I chose, a.

"And now you realize
Always you lived in a dream
How would it feel if you could
See past the lies
Oblivious to all of my cries
No hope when I knew you could"

Two roads diverged in a wood, and I-
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

Thanks for your comment. Well, I get different things from the dark, it depends on my mood! As for the rhyme scheme...well I likes to be playful sometimes! LOL

First off, thanks for your comment on "BRAWL". And to answer your question "If they inspire references to hell, why endure them?" Do you really want to see big saggy boobs with no support. I'm over 30 and I've discovered that OH SHIT! Gravity works! I could make references to knees being rubbed raw, but I think you get the picture. ;) (Wink) LOL
